CONRAD'S TAEKWONDO

Master Conrad Jenkins has developed special teaching methods that get results and cannot be imitated by others. Master Conrad is a high ranking International Taekwondo referee with updated and extensive knowledge of Olympic Style Taekwondo and its techniques. We make it top priority in putting focus on each individual’s character traits and physical abilities, and adapt different teaching methods to maximize the results.

Covid-19 Class update:

Please be advised that Taekwondo classes will be resume in the Dojang on June 01, 2020. We will be sanitizing the Dojang before and after each class, also maintaining eight feet distance between students.

Training with Fitlight

Conrad’s Taekwondo has incorporated a wireless reaction and targeting training system (Fitlight) into our training regime which uses LED lights that is managed by a tablet controller. The system has an intuitive program that allows the student to grow according to his or her own skills level as demonstrated here by Norah Ratley and Elizabeth Hill in these two videos.  Starting with a basic level  and advancing as they advance. The system is designed to measure targeting reacting time, speed, agility coordination and then gives an instant feedback to the instructor so they can evaluate the students performance giving the instructor a unique tool that will help the students growth in Taekwondo and beyond.

A huge and very well deserved thank you goes to Mr Keith Shelton (Taekwondo Parent) for his commitment and outstanding contribution toward the development of Conrad's Taekwondo. All the students and I deeply appreciate your generosity and all you have done for us. We are very grateful and blessed to have you as a big part of our Taekwondo family.

Martial Arts, and in particular Taekwondo, is great for developing attributes necessary for the positive growth and development of any individual.

Olympic Taekwondo is world renowned as a practical martial art. Imagine an activity that can teach fast, high kicking and punching but more importantly encourages the development of the necessary core values – confidence, self-esteem, perseverance, discipline, respect, spatial awareness, confrontational awareness and many more!
